On the morning of April 2, 2021, Chen Weijiong, Party Secretary of the College, led a team to inspect the safety work of the laboratory. Zhang Baoji, deputy director in charge of the laboratory, and members of the laboratory safety inspection team attended the inspection.
The inspection team carried out safety checks on laboratories affiliated to the Environmental and Safety Engineering Experiment Center, the Port, Waterway and Ship Engineering Experiment Center and the Materials Testing Center. The on-site inspection of the laboratory electricity specifications, laboratory safety passage and fire facilities, safety responsibility system, safety system construction, teachers and students safety education, laboratory facilities and conditions and related signs, experimental equipment and supplies management, experimental operating procedures, special facilities, dangerous chemical management and other situations.
Through the safety inspection, to promote the majority of teachers and students to continue to strengthen the laboratory safety awareness, and further laboratory safety system to put an end to the occurrence of safety accidents.
