On the afternoon of April 30, the first phase of the 2022 Youth League School of College of Ocean Science and Engineering and the learning education of One Hundred Years of Youth, Heart to the Party, Endeavor to Celebrate the 20th National Congress successfully opened in the form of online meeting. Dong Chaoqun, Deputy Secretary of party Committee of College of Ocean Science and Engineering, delivered the opening speech, and Yan Zenggang, deputy Secretary of Youth League committee of College of Ocean Science and Engineering, delivered the first class. All the key members of the college of Marine Science and Engineering participated in the study.
At the opening ceremony, Teacher Dong Chaoqun stressed the significance of the youth League school study on the eve of May 4th Youth Day and the special period of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League. As a Chinese saying goes, When the younger generation has ideals, skills and a sense of responsibility, a country will have a future and a nation will have hope. Dong stressed that students should have faith in their hearts, strength at their feet, aim high and adhere to the communist ideal. As young people in the new century, only by standing in the forefront of The Times, adapting to the needs of The Times and the needs of the motherland, the personal development and pursuit of the future and destiny of the country together, can we achieve a great cause. Secondly, young students should pay attention to distinguish right from wrong, self-learning, comprehensive ability and quality improvement, to achieve both political integrity and ability, knowledge and action. In the end, Mr. Dong expressed his good wishes to the students, hoping that they could make proper arrangements for their study and life while actively cooperating with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, and give a satisfactory answer to themselves, their parents, the school and the motherland.
Mr. Yan zenggang opened the first lesson of the youth League school with the topic of Youth to the Party, we are running on the track of youth relay. Yan shared the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at Renmin University of China and the centennial course of China's youth movement under the leadership of the Party. He stressed that young college students should be based on the new journey of the new era, and their goals and direction of progress should be summed up in one point, that is, unswervingly listen to the party, follow the Party, and strive to grow up to be worthy of the task of national rejuvenation. At the same time, he hoped that the students could measure the land of the motherland with their feet, discover the Spirit of China with their eyes, listen to the voice of the people with their ears, and feel the pulse of The Times with their hearts, and integrate their feelings for the blood of the motherland is thicker than water and share the same breath and destiny with the people through the whole process of their studies and into their careers.
