On the morning of February 17, Peng Haizai, vice president of the Graduate School, visited the College of Ocean Science and Engineering to investigate graduate education. Dong Chaoqun, Deputy Party Secretary of Marine Academy of Sciences, He Haibo, Secretary of Youth League Committee and graduate counselors attended the meeting.
Graduate counselor Huang Yin made a special report on graduate work. Ms. Huang gave a detailed introduction of the graduate students of the college, and explained the characteristics of graduate student training in each grade, such as love school honor school education, career education and employment special guidance and assistance. At the same time, combined with the daily work sorted out the existing deficiencies and the next work ideas.
After listening to the specific situation of graduate work of the Academy of Maritime Sciences, Vice President Peng Haizai explained the work focus of the graduate School in 2023, and said that this year, combined with the twenty major studies, will carry out scientific ethics and academic norms education, in-depth education of gratitude, education of role models, shipping scientific examination, graduate afternoon tea activities, and so on, to constantly enrich the specific content of graduate education. It puts forward specific requirements for the management of graduate students, such as strengthening the construction of teachers' ethics and styles and carrying out characteristic education.
