On the afternoon of September 22, a discussion on the editorial board of two Corrosion periodicals in the field of corrosion (China Journal of Corrosion and Protection) and Corrosion Communications (in English) in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai was held in the Haifeng International Lecture Hall of the University. Professor Li Jin, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Corrosion and Protection, the person in charge of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering and relevant teachers, the editorial director of the two journals and more than 30 experts and scholars from Zhejiang University, Ningbo Institute of Materials of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University, Shanghai University, Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai Electric Power University and other units attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Luo Dong, director of the Journal Literature Center of the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Professor Li Jin from Fudan University introduced the origin and development of the two journals in the field of corrosion, and called on scholars in related fields in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai to deepen exchanges and cooperation.
During the keynote speech stage, Professor Dong Lihua, Director of Shanghai Heavy Icebreaker Key Steel Collaborative Innovation Center, Professor Liu Tao and Professor Chang Xueting from the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Director Chi Mei of the editorial Department of Corrosion Journal (English), Director Wang Ge of the editorial department of China Corrosion and Protection Journal, etc., made speeches successively.
In the interactive discussion stage, the participating editorial board and the young editorial board actively gave suggestions and suggestions, and from different perspectives and academic perspectives, put forward many forward-looking, constructive, targeted and operable opinions and suggestions on the future development direction of the journal, policy support, promotion and publicity, and construction of the editorial board.
In recent years, the material discipline of the university has closely focused on ship materials and anti-corrosion and anti-pollution technology, and has achieved a series of academic achievements in the field of corrosion. The successful holding of the editorial board meeting of the two journals in the field of corrosion will further promote the cooperation and exchanges between the material team of the university and relevant domestic teams, form a joint force, and contribute to the national Marine strategy.
